This course will focus on the English translation of the Gospel of Matthew. The course will, as far as possible, avoid discussions that take place on issues that are outside of the English text (e.g., textual variants, redaction criticism, etc.). This is a course for those who would like to study the Gospel at a high academic level, while reading the text in English.
